DC Chevron Church, a vibrant community of faith, sought to enhance its digital presence with a redesigned landing page that would better communicate its welcoming spirit and active community involvement. The objective was to create an inviting, informative, and user-friendly interface that reflected the church’s values and mission.

Challenge

The previous landing page did not effectively convey the warmth and community focus of the church. It was essential to integrate elements that would showcase the church’s activities, services, and commitment to fellowship.

Design Process

The design process began with gathering feedback from the pastor and analyzing the existing site. Key areas for improvement were identified, including the need for a photo-centric engaging welcome message, clearer navigation, and interactive elements to guide users to the church’s services and contact information.

Solution

The new design features a clean, modern layout with a welcoming banner that immediately captures attention. The welcome message, “Welcome to DC Chevron,” sets the tone for the church’s mission of inclusivity and community.

A significant feature of the redesign is the interactive map titled “Explore Path to DC Chevron,” which allows users to find directions to the church. This feature is complemented by microcopy that invites users to “Find Your Way,” emphasizing accessibility and openness.

The services section is organized into clear categories such as “Sunday Service” and “Unique Wednesdays,” each accompanied by engaging captions and follow-up text that invites visitors to participate in the church’s offerings.
